Michelle’s

I’m thankful for my teacher, Lucy. She was my teacher when I was in the third grade. She was kind and nice. When I did something wrong, she wouldn’t shout or get mad with me. She always talked to me nicely. “Don’t do it again, ok?” When I felt unwell, she talked to me. When I didn’t know the homework, she taught me. She was like my angel, a mother in school. In school, she always took care of me. I was happy at school every day. But one day, a cruel thing happened. Our teacher said, “I’m going to America.” That day, I couldn’t sleep and I was sad. A teacher that was kind and like an angel was going to somewhere far away from me. Teacher, I want to thank you. Thank you very much.

Scott’s

I’m thankful for my classmate, Michael.

1. A.       Michael’s math is good. If I have any math questions, he always helps me.
2. B.       Every time he has something good and he gives me some.
3. C.        When I’m not happy, he says something funny to me.
4. D.       When I forget to bring something, he always lends me his.

Chris’s

I’m thankful for my friend, Sherman.

1. A.       He always plays with me when I am bored.
2. B.       He always talks to me when it is breaktime.
3. C.        If I have some questions, he always teaches me.
4. D.       At his birthday party, he prepares much food to eat.

Edward’s

I’m thankful for my friend, Steven. Because he likes to play with me and shares food and fruit with me. Sometimes we are angry at each other but we say sorry to each other, too. When one of us has birthday party we give birthday gift to another. I often go to his house. One day I fell down, and he took me to the school health center. The teacher said, “ I’m his brother and he is my little brother. ” I think that day is my favorite day because we can play together. I’d like to surprise him next time and tell him how thankful I am.

Ivy’s

I’m thankful for my dog, Lucky. I remember once my math score was very bad. I got 88 and my father said, “If your math score is lower than 90, I will hit you. But if you get more than 95, I will give you 100 dollars.” That day, my father hit me and I cried. But Lucky often came toward me and I felt better after touching him. He always wanted me to hug him and that makes me feel happy. So I’m very thankful for my dog, Lucky.

Johnny’s

I’m thankful for my friend, Hong Je.

1. A.       He teaches me homework that I don’t know.
2. B.       He always plays a ball with me.
3. C.        He helps me to find my things when I lose them.
4. D.       He plays with me when I was bored.

Koda’s

I’m thankful for my teacher. I remember once she comforted me because someone said something bad to me, and she helped me to talk to him. And after that, he said sorry to me and my teacher let us go. She was the best teacher in the school, I have so many things to tell her and thank to her. I hope she could be my teacher forever. But that is impossible, no teacher could teach a student forever. She’s my angel and I would like to find some time to thank her, although she is not here next to me. And I’m really, really thank to her.
